How to counter Genesect

PO is retarded for suspecting this thing. But if you're having a problem beating this thing, the answer is simple
Walls/Counters:
Heatran
Rotom-H
Volcarona
Charizard X or y

Run something scarfed, it's very simple.

Possible Genesect sets:
Specs
Expert Belt
Band
LO
Most commonly scarfed

Genesect isn't OP, and it belongs in OU. Once you find out the set, it's not hard to beat. But playing against a good player could be difficult, since they can very easily trick you into thinking it's some other set. So play carefully
